Liner Hanger, Rotating type, or Liner with Top Packer |
Liner hangers are Tools used to be attached to the liner string (usually short length of casing) and hang the liner inside the last casing string to save running full string of casing to surface. The most popular size is 7” but there are other sizes (9.5/8”, 4.1/2” and 5”) with minor requirements.

Float Equipment |
Tools installed in the casing or liner string usually have non return valve (one way valve) inside them to allow fill up of the casing while running to prevent casing collapse and after running the casing to the desired depth, it allows circulation of mud/cement through it. |

Retrievable Production Packers |
Tools to isolate the casisng/tubing annulus as close as possible to the reservoir. Packers are run with completion string (both single and dual). Packers are set by applying pressure in the completion strinbg. |

Travel (Expansion Joints) |
Tools used in completion string to accommodate the tubing movement after landing the string. Travel joint has a stroke to allow completion string expansion and contraction to avoid full string buckling or tension. |

Side Pocket Mandrels |
Tool that allow communication between the production annuls and the production tubing. The mandrel has many application and different accessories based on the application, either to pump chemicals from the annulus to the tubing, or to gas lift the well by pumping gas from the annulus to lighten the fluid column in the production tubing.

Mainly used for connecting the joints of large size of casing together. Connectors replace the need for threads and coupling that which is the regular way of connecting casing (threads). Threads and couplings are not economical for conductor pipes. |
